La comunità di San Vincenzo Pallotti, Kattoor, e Alappuzha è composta da cinque membri e la nostra donatrice Miss. Eliamma.

Sr. Judy Cheruvally, Superiora del convento, dirigente e docente del St. Vincent Pallotti College. 

Sr. Milani Joseph, la preside del Collegio e animatrice giovanile. 

Sr. RiniMadathil lavora nel centro di assistenza sociale diocesano di Alleppy. Sr. Jaya D Lazar è consigliere di un centro di ritiro Mariano, chiamato Krupasanam e sacra famiglia superiore Kattoor scuola secondaria – una volta a settimana è anche occupata con il Catechismo, l’animazione della comunità di base di cristian e Thirubalasakhyam (associazione poco mota).

Sr. Alice gloria, lavora presso l'ufficio universitario e soddisfa le diverse esigenze della Comunità. Anche lei fa il suo corso di laurea. Tutte le suore sono impegnate nell'animazione delle comunità cristiane di base e delle diverse attività della Chiesa. 

La località in cui siamo situate è completamente zona costiera ed è un villaggio cristiano. Le persone sono molto povere e la pesca è il loro sostentamento. Le calamità naturali come alluvioni e tsunami influenzano questa zona molto facilmente e alcuni di loro hanno perso anche il loro rifugio durante l'ultima inondazione. Non sono in grado di pescare tutto il tempo a causa della variazione del clima. Sperimentiamo la vera lotta della gente per la vita quotidiana. Essa influisce anche sulla nostra missione in quanto non sono in grado di pagare le tasse in modo regolare. 

Il nostro apostolato 

Abbiamo un istituto educativo chiamato St. Vincent Pallotti College, dove i giovani seguono i più alti corsi secondari e di laurea. Sono BA-sociologia, BA-storia, BA-English e B com. Ci sono 14  docenti dedicatial servizio che portano la stessa responsabilità insieme alla direzione per garantire lo sviluppo olistico globale dei nostri studenti, oltre ai nostri sforzi per impartire la migliore educazione. Ci sono due persone non docente che collaborano con noi per il successo dell'Istituto. Per una migliore gestione del Collegio abbiamo formato un'associazione di insegnanti genitori con sette membri esecutivi eletti. Le riunioni PTA si tengono a intervalli regolari per rivedere le attività degli studenti e cercare le partecipazioni e i feedback dei genitori.  

Tutti insieme siamo ora arricchiti con 260 studenti, tra cui 139 ragazzi e 121 ragazze. 98% degli studenti sono cattolici. Gli studenti che non entrano nella lista dei meriti chiedono l'ammissione qui. Pertanto 95% di loro sarà molto debole negli studi. Dobbiamo lavorare sodo per portarli ad un buon risultato. Noi sperimentiamo le benedizioni di Dio su di noi affinché ci sia un miglioramento ogni anno. Cerchiamo di fornire tutti i possibili aiuti accademici-culturali-morali e spirituali per crescere in maniera olistica.

Il Collegio celebra molti programmi culturali, varie giornate mondiali celebrazione e morale-attività di aiuti spirituali. Siamo lieti di condividere che uno dei nostri studenti di XII, ashbin P. L, che è apparso per il 2017-18, esame secondario superiore, è passato in colori volanti.  Ha raggiunto il 100% del marchio in Malayalam, accountancy e A + in tutti gli altri soggetti.

Il College topper è stato insaccato da lui. Ogni mese abbiamo la Santa messa e la confessione. Ogni giorno una sessione di preghiera di mezz'ora è condotta dai nostri studenti stessi in diversi gruppi senza alcun bar di religione.  

Per sviluppare le qualità di leadership tra gli studenti le elezioni sindacali del Collegio è stata condotta il 10 agosto. Il post del Presidente dell'Union College è stato intrapreso da Joel Ouseph, AmalAntony come Vice Presidente, RahulMohan come Sports Club Secretary, Ammu. K. R come segretario generale e Namitha Christina come segretario di Arts Club sono eletti.

È stato celebrato in debita maniera. Sri. K. T. Mathew. Il Presidente del comitato permanente di educazione sanitaria, Alappuzhaha issato la bandiera. Uno skit sulla consapevolezza sulle questioni sociali è stato tenuto da studenti di laurea che era un apriscatole a tutti. Anche noi abbiamo preso parte a prestare le mani con una piccola somma di denaro RS. 12.000,

Riunione del PTA

Festival della gioventù del College:
siamo orgogliosi di aver organizzato e ospitato il giorno del College Arts e di far emergere i talenti e le potenzialità dei nostri studenti.

È stato condotto da 4 diverse case rosso, blu, bianco verde rispettivamente, in competizione in una varietà di elementi palco incorporando la loro Competizione distrettuale: poster Don Bosco, primo premio, XII, poster secondo premio, Pranav XI.

Light Music primo premio, Digna Ajith XI, premio IInd Aneeta ben e shini Sebastian.  Discorso 2 ° premio Digna Ajith, Nadan Pattu primo premio, XII, Stephy Joseph e partito secondo premio XI, Aneeta ben e partito. Complimenti a tutti....

Festa di Natale

Natale è lo spirito di dare senza il pensiero di ottenere e diffondere l'emozione dell'amore. Gesù Cristo è la ragione di questa stagione mentre commemoriamo il giorno del suo compleanno. È stata organizzata la competizione di canto Carol. La festa del cibo era una nuova esperienza per il nostro campus. 

Celebrazioni:-la festa del nostro patrono celeste è stata celebrata in modo significativo. La Santa Eucaristia è stata seguita dalla visita e distribuzione del pranzo per la vecchia casa invecchiata.

Carità:-i nostri studenti e insegnanti hanno visitato DivyaKarunya vecchiaia dove sono posti letto cavalcato nella nostra località e distribuito cibo per loro due volte. È stata un'esperienza toccante per gli studenti e gli insegnanti. Il nostro sincero ringraziamento e apprezzamento agli studenti, agli insegnanti e ai genitori per il loro contributo volontario per la nobile causa. 

Sono felice di aver condiviso con voi la vita del convento di San Vincenzo Pallotti a Kattoor, davvero felice di condividere con voi la nostra vita e il nostro apostolato.  Inchiniamo la nostra testa in riverenza verso Dio Onnipotente per le benedizioni che ha fatto piovere sul nostro Istituto e su tutti i nostri apostolati. Noi affidando il nostro Collegio e tutti gli altri apostolati nelle mani divine di madre Maria, del nostro patronoSan Vincenzo Pallotti e invochiamo le benedizioni del Signore Gesù

St.Vincent Pallotti Convent - Kattoor - Alappuzha

The Community of St. Vincent Pallotti Convent, Kattoor, and Alappuzha consists of five members and our donor Miss. Eliamma. Sr. Judy Cheruvally, the Superior of the Convent, the manager and teacher of St. Vincent Pallotti College.  Sr. Milani Joseph, the Principal of the College and youth animator.  Sr. RiniMadathil works in Alleppy diocesan Social Service Centre. Sr. Jaya D Lazar Counsellor of a Marian Retreat Centre, called Krupasanam and Holy Family Higher Secondary School Kattoor – once in a week, also occupied with catechism,Animation of Basic Cristian community and Thirubalasakhyam(Little Way Association). Sr. Alice Gloria, works in the College Office as well as fulfill various needs of the community. She does her Degree Course too.All the sisters are engaged in the animation of Basic Christian Communities and of different activities of the church. 

The locality where we are situated is completelycoastal area and it is a Christian village. The people are very poor and fishing is their livelihood. The naturalcalamities such as flood and tsunami affect this area very easily and someof them have lost even their shelter during the last flood. They are unable for fishing all the time due to the variation in the climate. Sometimes they will have no catch at all. We experience the real struggle of the people for daily life. It also affect our mission as they are not able to pay less levied fee regularly.

Our Apostolate

We have an educational Institute called St. Vincent Pallotti College, where they do their higher Secondary and few Degree Courses. They are BA-Sociology, BA- History, BA- English and B Com. There are 14 dedicated and service minded teaching staff who carry the equal responsibility along with the management to ensure the overall holistic development of our students in addition to our efforts to impart the best education.There are two non-teaching staff who collaborate with us for the success of the Institute. For the better management of the College we have formed a Parent Teachers Association with seven elected executive members. PTA meetings are held at regular intervals to review the activities of the students and seek parents’ participations and feedback.  

Alltogether we are now enriched with 260 students including 139 boys and 121 girls. 98% of the students are Catholics. The students those who do not enter in merit list are seeking admission here. Therefore 95% of them will be very weak in studies. We have to work hard to bring them up with good result. We experience God’s blessings upon us so that there is improvement every year. We try to provide all the possible academic- cultural- moral and spiritual aids to grow holistically.

The college celebrates many cultural programs, various World celebration Days and moral - Spiritual aids activities. We are pleased to share that one of our students of XII, Ashbin P.L,who appeared for the 2017- 18, higher secondary examination, passedin flying colors.  He achieved 100% mark in Malayalam, Accountancy and A+ in all other Subjects. The College Topper was bagged by Him. There were majority of the students who excelled in the previous years of board examination March. Every month we have Holy Mass and confession. Every day half an hour prayer session is conducted by our students themselves in different groups without any religion bar. 

To develop the leadership qualities among the students the College union election was conducted on August 10^th. College Union Chairman post was undertaken by Joel Ouseph, Amal Antony as Vice Chairman, Rahul Mohan as Sports Club Secretary, Ammu. K. R as General Secretary and Namitha Christina as Arts Club Secretary are elected. Congrats to all of them. It was celebrated in due manner. Sri. K. T. Mathew. The standing committee chairman of Health Education, Alappuzha hoisted flag. A Skit on awareness on the Social issues was acted by Degree students which was an eye opener to all. We too took part in lending hands with small amount of money Rs. 12,000, PTA meeting.

College Youth Festival: - We proudly organized and hosted College Arts day and to bring out the talents and potential of our students. It was conducted from 4 different houses Red, Blue, White Green respectively, competing in a variety of stage items incorporating their creative talents.

District Competition:- Poster Don Bosco , First Prize, XII ,  Poster Second Prize, Pranav XI. Light Music First  Prize, DignaAjith  XI, Iind Prize Aneeta Ben and Shini Sebastian.  Speech 2^nd Prize DignaAjith, NadanPattu First Prize, XII, Stephy Joseph and party  Second Prize XI,  Aneeta Ben and Party. Congrats to all….

Sports Meet – 2019 : State Competition will be taking place on 3^rd Feb.

Christmas Celebration: - Christmas is the spirit of giving without the thought of getting and spreading the emotion of love. Jesus Christ is the reason for this season as we commemorate the day as His birthday. Carol singing competition was organized. The food fest was a new experience for our campus.

Celebrations: - Our Heavenly Patron’s Feast day was celebrated in a very meaningful manner. The Holy Eucharist was followed by the visit and distribution of lunch for the old aged home.

Charity: -Our Students and teachers visited DivyaKarunya Old age where those are bed ridden in our locality and distributed food for them twice. It was a heart touching experience for the students and teachers. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the students, teachers and parents for their voluntary contribution for the noble cause.

We conducted a Beauty Contest and which was a new item of the year. 

Trip: - XII and Degree students had one day picnic to Moonar.
